Bunker Drill

Here’s a quick tip that can help you become a better greenside bunker player.

Practice hitting shots with your trailing hand (right hand for most golfers) and allowing the club to release so the trailing edge of the club enters the sand first (without closing the face). This allows the “bounce” on the club to work for you, so that the club slides through the sand and the sand moves the ball.

Here John is having some fun pretending to “close a deal” while hitting the shot.

Real Estate hazards are no laughing matter, however, so if you need some assistance be sure to give John a call or email.
